German Unity Day Celebration in Kiel

The Interreg Baltic Sea program presented itself and multiple projects at the German Unity Day Celebration in Kiel on October 3rd 2019.

The annual celebration draws the attention of thousands of visitors and is home to a large exhibition presenting official government institutions, private companies and innovative projects from the civil society.

The R-Mode Baltic project participated in the Interreg acitivities and presented the R-Mode system, the ongoing research activities and current results to the public.

Due to the location close to the Baltic Sea and its large international port, the city of Kiel is an attractive spot to meet people that are interested in new developments in the maritime domain. Dozens of people visited the R-Mode Baltic project booth and asked questions about the project. The project members also came in close contact with people from other Interreg projects.
